Education is the sole foundation for a strong future, we at ASAP – Appu Schooling Awareness Project are working towards building an ecosystem to uplift the quality of free education and flourish Indian Government education.
ASAP Program focuses on multiple verticals of the education system that come together to build the right environment which establishes inclusive and equitable quality education.
Today Karnataka alone UDISE+ 2021-22 report revealed that the dropout rate is highest in the secondary level at 14.7%, which is higher than all-India’s 12.6% in 2021-22, Ensuring student retention rates increase and keeping enrollment rates high is the need of the hour.
The Government today has allocated 58.82% of the total Education budget towards Elementary Education and 28% towards Higher /Secondary Education. Which drives teacher training, School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC) and other educational training programs. Multiple Individual NGO’s and CSR initiatives are also working towards various educational efforts which today are in SILO’s . ASAP program is an honest effort to collaborate across Gov and Non-gov organizations to align them to achieve the common goal of providing the best quality education and development for our young generation, the change makers and the future of our brighter India.

The Kids Rights Index is a global ranking based on 20 Children’s Rights Indicators derived from 3 sources, grouped into 5 rights based domains.

5. Right to child rights environment
And India today ranks at the 112th position with the index value being 0.680. and our core 5 Pillars of ASAP touch upon all these 5 domains. Covering different aspects of student development.
